“Cardiorisk” standart profile
The profile shows your risk of developing cardiovascular disease, as well as the severity of your pre-existing conditions. There are three types of profile: standard, comprehensive and advanced.
The "standard" profile is an examination based on the most common indicators that are usually prescribed in polyclinics. This profile provides a minimum of diagnostic information and is suitable for patients without obvious cardiac problems, but who are at risk (age, unhealthy habits, hereditary).
- Triglycerides - fats that are involved in the development of atherosclerosis.
- Total cholesterol is a structural component of many cells in the body. Excess cholesterol leads to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. Cholesterol can be divided into two types: The "healthy" kind - HDL and the "harmful" kind - LDL.
- LDL is the kind of cholesterol that forms atherosclerotic plaques.
- HDL is the type of cholesterol that has anti-atherogenic properties.
- Atherogenicity index (free) - the degree of risk of developing atherosclerosis.
- Glucose - excess glucose in the blood may (not always) indicate the presence of diabetes mellitus.
