Operating procedure:
A potential franchisee chooses a premises located at least one kilometer from another treatment room under the CDL OLYMP brand. The distance is measured in a straight line. The premises must comply with sanitary standards and CDL OLYMP standards. The premises standards are available at this link.
After the premises have been found, the potential franchisee sends the address of the premises (city, street, house) and a layout of the premises for preliminary consideration to the franchising manager. If the premises and location previously comply with all standards, an analytical note and an estimate for opening costs are filled out, which are subsequently submitted for approval to management. When filling out an estimate for opening costs, it is necessary to provide a reserve of money for at least the first 3-4 months of operation at a loss.
The profitability of the treatment room is significantly influenced by the correctly chosen location. There is a risk that, as a result of an incorrectly chosen location, the franchisee will be forced to close the treatment room. It is not recommended to choose a location with low population density, such as a private sector; It is not recommended to open a treatment room in settlements with a population of less than 30,000 people (the number of people in the area is not taken into account).
If the analytical note is agreed upon, the franchisee begins work on the opening: repairs, decoration, and equipment of the treatment room at his own expense. The design of the entrance group is developed by CDL OLYMP and the franchisee subsequently manufactures it at his own expense. For medical equipment, you need to buy a centrifuge, bactericidal irradiators, the rest is furniture and office equipment.
In total, from 2 (two) to 10 (ten) million tenge is spent on opening, not including the Lump-sum fee. The amount of investment for opening depends significantly on the condition of the premises: in some facilities it is enough to paint the walls, in others it is necessary to change the layout, demolish the walls, or make repairs from the rough finish. The return on investment can be 6-9 months, but each case is individual.
The franchisee independently bears the costs of personnel, rental payments, and other expenses associated with the commissioning and operation of the treatment room. Consultation on choosing a tax regime should be obtained from a specialized specialist.
In the process of preparing a treatment room for opening, it is necessary to obtain a positive conclusion from the SEZ and subsequently a license for medical activities.
CDL OLYMP trains franchisee treatment room staff free of charge. A total of three employees are required: a receptionist, a nurse, and a nurse.
Treatment rooms are provided with courier service and consumables. Some consumables are provided free of charge, while others must be purchased independently. Free consumables include, for example, vacutainers, needles, and slides. Paid consumables include, for example, shoe covers, gloves, bags, CBSU, disinfectants, tourniquets, masks, hats, and diapers.
After the opening of a treatment room, information about it is posted on the website and in the contact center.
At the end of the month, an invoice is issued for laboratory diagnostics. 34% - the share of franchisees, 66% - the share of CDL OLYMP. There is no invoice for collection services, ultrasound, doctors, and anything that does not relate to laboratory diagnostics - these revenues remain entirely with the franchisee.
The franchise agreement is registered with the NIIS (Republican State Enterprise "National Institute of Intellectual Property").
