Osteoporosis Profile

The profile includes the following tests:

  • Beta-Cross laps
  • Osteocalcin
  • Parathormone
  • Calcium Total
  • Phosphorus
  • Inorganic
  • Calcium Ionized

The Osteoporosis Profile is required for an objective and comprehensive assessment of bone density.

Beta-Cross laps - as bone tissue destructs, it enters the bloodstream. High levels indicate increased bone destruction.

Osteocalcin - indicates either bone destruction or activation of bone structure repair.

Parathormone - parathyroid hormone that "leaches" calcium from the bones into the blood. Minerals - their altered content is a direct indicator of a violation of the metabolism of microelements. They are administered together, as there is a close relationship between them, affecting their concentration
