New! Analysis of the "chemical composition of urinary calculus by IR spectroscopy"
Dear patients!
We are pleased to inform you that in all Treatment rooms in your city, it is now possible to do testing for:
-
The chemical composition of the urinary stone by IR spectroscopy.
Cost: 13 200 tenge.
IR spectroscopy (infrared spectroscopy) is a method of testing that allows you to determine the chemical composition of substances based on their interaction with infrared radiation.
Urinary stones are secreted from mineral and chemical substances in the urine. The composition of a urinary stone can be considered and includes components such as calcium, oxalates, urea, and others.
Instructions for urine collection:
Each urine collection should be filtered until the stone comes out. It is also important to filter urine during the first-morning urination because during the night the stone could get into the bladder or urinary tract.
1. Use a special filter or gauze cloth to filter urine.
2. If a stone is found, rinse it and thoroughly air-dry it at room temperature for 24 hours on a napkin or towel.
3. Put the dry stone in a clean, dry container, such as a urine collection container.
4. Important: Any residual moisture or dampness on the stone or in the container will delay testing.
-
Do not put the stone into any liquid
-
Do not attach the sample to anything with adhesive tape
5. Store the stone at room temperature before sending it to the treatment room and laboratory.
Sampling material: urolite
