“Cardiorisk Extended” Profile (special offer)

The Cardiorisk extended profile includes the following tests:

  • Triglycerides
  • Total cholesterol
  • HDL Cholesterol
  • LDL Cholesterol
  • Apolipoprotein A1
  • Apolipoprotein B
  • Glucose
  • C-reactive Protein Cardio (highly sensitive)
  • Troponin I
  • Lipoprotein (a)

The profile shows the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, as well as the severity of existing pathologies. There are 3 profile options: standard, complete, and extended.

  1. Triglycerides are fats involved in the development of atherosclerosis.
  2. Total cholesterol is a structural component of many body cells. Excess cholesterol leads to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. Cholesterol can be divided into 2 types: "useful" - HDL and "harmful" - LDL.
  3. LDL is a type of cholesterol that forms atherosclerotic plaques.
  4. HDL is a type of cholesterol with anti-atherogenic properties.
  5. Glucose – excess glucose in the blood may indicate (not always) the presence of diabetes mellitus.
  6. Apolipoprotein A1 is a substance that is necessary to prevent the development of atherosclerosis.
  7. Apolipoprotein B is a substance that promotes the accumulation of cholesterol in the body.
  8. C-reactive protein Cardio – displays the severity of atherosclerosis.
  9. Troponin I – allows you to determine very low concentrations of cardiac troponin-I in the blood, including in healthy people. Depending on the level of troponin-I in the blood, the cardiovascular risk may be low, medium, and increased.
