“Cardiorisk Standard” Profile (promotion)
The Standard Cardiorisk profile includes the following tests:
- Triglycerides
- Total cholesterol
- HDL Cholesterol
- Cholesterol - LDL
- Glucose
- Atherogenic index
The profile shows the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, as well as the severity of existing pathologies. There are 3 profile options: standard, complete and extended.
"Standard" means examination according to the most common indicators, which are usually prescribed in polyclinics. The profile provides a minimum of diagnostic information, suitable for patients who do not have obvious heart problems, but who are at risk (age, bad habits, burdened heredity)
Triglycerides are fats involved in the development of atherosclerosis.
Total cholesterol is a structural component of many body cells. Excess cholesterol leads to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. Cholesterol can be divided into 2 types: "useful" - HDL and "harmful" - LDL
LDL is a type of cholesterol that forms atherosclerotic plaques.
HDL is a type of cholesterol with anti–atherogenic properties.
The atherogenicity index (free of charge) is the degree of risk of atherosclerosis.
Glucose – excess glucose in the blood may indicate (not always) the presence of diabetes mellitus
