"The profile for which special pricing is provided includes the following tests:

  • Complete blood count with leukocyte formula
  • Uric acid
  • C-reactive protein
  • Rheumatoid factor
  • Antistreptolysin O

The Rheumatological profile is shown to patients for the diagnosis of inflammatory joint diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and gout.

"Standard" is a minimum of tests that allows you to suspect the presence of inflammation in the joints.

  • A complete blood count is a test giving an overall picture of the human condition, the presence of inflammation in the body.
  • Uric acid is deposited in the joints and causes severe pain in them in case of gout.
  • C-reactive protein is one of the first to appear in the blood in inflammatory diseases.
  • Rheumatoid factor is a screening analysis indicating the likelihood of an autoimmune disease, which is rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Antistreptolysin O is an indicator of the body's contact with the streptococcus bacteria, which can cause rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatism.

Complete:

  • C3, C4 complement are blood proteins that are directly involved in the development of joint inflammation.

Advanced:

  • IgA, IgM, IgG assays showing the severity of the autoimmune process.
  • ACCP is the most reliable indicator of the presence of rheumatoid arthritis."
