OLYMP CDL is a partner of Kazakhstan Functional Multisport Championship

On August 24-25, 2024 Astana hosted the Kazakhstan Functional Multisport Championship. The organizer is the Kazakhstan Federation of Functional Multisport, and OLYMP CDL branches participated there as an official partner.

Over 110 people registered for the Championship, but only about 70 participants of different age categories (from 14 to 65) passed the selection. Athletes from 9 different cities took part in the competition which are Astana, Almaty, Rudnyi, Qaragandy, Semei, Petropavlovsk, Aqtobe, Oskemen, Qostanai. One of the main requirements for participation in the Championship was to have a doctor's approval for high-intensity competitions.

The Championship began on August 23 with the registration of participants. And the competitions were held the next two days.

The program was very intense. Athletes competed among themselves in such categories as swimming, weightlifting, strength exercises and complexes.

The first day of the Championship started in Barys Arena, where the participants swam for speed. The second half of the day was held at the Triathlon Park, where athletes demonstrated their power, strength and endurance by performing complex exercises.

Men and women participated in the Championship in the following categories such as Scaled, Junior, Intermediate, Masters 45+, RX.

The purpose of the competition is to popularize functional multisport and healthy lifestyle, to form positive sports habits, to identify the most prepared athletes of the country, to improve their skills. The most important thing is the formation of the national team of Kazakhstan to participate in the IF3 2024 World Championship, which will be held in December 2024 in Budapest.

The total prize fund amounted to 3,500,000 tenge. Three winners were selected from each of the 10 categories who took first, second and third place.
